Tesla · Canada & United States

Tesla referral program

The Tesla referral program works in Canada and the US. There is no referral code box at checkout — the Tesla referral code is the order link. Start from the correct country URL before you configure a Model 3 or Model Y. Last updated 2026-10-14.

Tesla referral code

Tesla has no box to type a referral code. Click Order in Canada or Order in the US below so the Tesla referral program is attached, then configure the car. If you start from tesla.com without that link, the perk is usually not added later.

Canada vs United States

Same Tesla account, two order sites. Use Canada if you will take delivery in Canada, and the US if you will take delivery in the United States. Deposit, tax, and inventory differ by country.

Current Tesla referral program perk

The current Tesla referral program buyer perk in Canada and the US is 3 months of free Full Self-Driving (Supervised) on a qualifying Model 3 or Model Y. Tesla changes this. Confirm the line on the order page. Canadian deposit, EVAP, and financing notes stay on the Ordering FAQ.
